Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking an Operations Engineer with a mechanical bias for the Gwynt Y Mor Offshore Windfarm, based at the Port of Mostyn.

You will provide engineering support to wind farm operations and lead on-site technical activities to ensure safe and reliable asset performance. Requirements include a degree in engineering and a strong mechanical background, plus experience in project and contract management within offshore environments.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified engineer; strong mechanical background with electrical project exposure.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex engineering data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with site teams, contractors and specialists.
• Experience in project management, contract management, budget control and contractor oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to wind farm operations (160 x 3.6MW Siemens WTGs).
• Act as operational technical lead for offshore WTG structures, drivetrain, blades and onshore facilities.
• Develop and manage inspection and maintenance campaigns focusing on HSE, asset integrity and cost delivery.
