Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. seeks an Operations Engineer with a mechanical bias to support the Offshore Operations team at Gwynt Y Mor, Port of Mostyn. You will provide engineering guidance for 160 Siemens WTGs and lead inspections, modifications, and cost-effective asset support.

The role requires strong mechanical fundamentals, project/contract management experience, and ability to work in offshore environments with high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer with power generation/offshore wind experience.
• Strong mechanical background with understanding of electrical projects.
• Experience in project and contract management, budgeting and governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in offshore operational environments and working at height.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to wind farm operations (160 x 3.6MW WTGs).
• Lead offshore WTG structures, drivetrain, blades and onshore facilities.
• Develop and manage inspection/maintenance campaigns focused on HSE and asset integrity.
• Ensure compliance with engineering management instructions and UK/EU standards.
• Assess, design and implement plant modifications with condition monitoring.
• Act as delegated Contract Officer and Project Manager across assets.
• Support Offshore JUV operations with engineering guidance and client support.
• Create RAMS, QA processes and documentation using MS Office and CMMS.
