Job summary

Bumi Armada UK Limited is recruiting for a Lead Instrument Technician / Instrument Technician to join the Armada Kraken FPSO on a 3:4:3:5 rotation (50/50 Lead/Technician). You will direct the instrument team to maintain production and utility systems for stable operations offshore.

Key duties include coordinating schedules, managing instrument risks, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. Relevant NVQ/SVQ Level 3, an apprenticeship, and CompEx are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in offshore instrument maintenance and leadership.
• Ability to perform Emergency Response duties and manage risks.
• Safe working practices and compliance with procedures.
• Knowledge of instrument safety requirements and ICP/ICSS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate task schedules and provide technical guidance on instrumentation.
• Implement planned and corrective maintenance on offshore instruments.
• Maintain records in CMMS and update drawings and manuals.
• Ensure safety and work permit procedures are followed by the team.
• Report deficiencies and coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and Materials Coordinator.
