Aventa is seeking, on behalf of our client—a leading developer in the offshore renewable energy sector—a Senior Offshore Installation Engineer to join their Construction Department. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a team of skilled engineers on the Greater Changhua 4 Windfarm Project, contributing to one of the most significant offshore wind developments in the region.

Responsibilities include:

1. Analyze, recommend, and optimize offshore installation, logistics concepts, and procedures before and during installation.
2. Prepare technical invitation-to-tender documents.
3. Collaborate with Package and Contract managers to tender, negotiate, and recommend installation contracts, including MWS.
4. Manage offshore installation contractors and MWS, ensuring cross-disciplinary cooperation within the project team.
5. Review contractor method statements and risk assessments.
6. Implement HAZID/HAZOP for installation design and operations.
7. Provide progress reports to Project Manager, including technical risks and contingency plans.
8. Supervise trialing, tool development, vessel setup, and installation campaign initiation offshore.
9. Manage Client’s Representatives and QA Daily Progress Reports.
10. Create, monitor, and control execution of Design Quality reports and align input from Supplier quality.
11. Manage product NCRs and review supplier method statements and as-built documentation during the execution phase.

Requirements:

• Experienced professional preferably with knowledge of Ørsted projects.
• Knowledge of array cable installation, cable laying, cable pulling, and cable protection systems.
