Offshore Installation Manager – Array Cable Installation

Contract: 12-month rolling contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days

A leading player in the global renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced Offshore Installation Manager to join an ambitious offshore wind project. Based in London, this role will be pivotal in the successful planning and execution of array cable installation works for a high-profile development.

Key Responsibilities
Analyse, recommend and optimise offshore installation and logistics strategies
Develop technical documentation for tenders and evaluate proposals
Collaborate with package and contract managers to procure and negotiate installation contracts, including marine warranty scopes
Manage contractors during execution, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical standards
Review and approve contractor method statements and risk assessments
Lead or participate in HAZID/HAZOP sessions for offshore installation activities
Provide regular progress updates, flag technical risks, and formulate contingency measures
Oversee trial runs, tooling, loadout, and vessel preparation
Supervise the commencement and ongoing execution of offshore campaigns
Coordinate and support site representatives and QA daily progress tracking
Implement and control quality assurance systems, including design quality reporting and non-conformance handling
Review supplier documentation, method statements, and as-built records
Requirements
Proven experience in offshore wind, particularly with European developers
In-depth knowledge of array cable installation techniques
Strong background in cable laying, cable pulling, and cable protection systems
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and internal teams
Solid understanding of offshore construction risks and quality assurance procedures
