Job summary

JAB Recruitment is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Engineer to join a leading offshore oil & gas / marine engineering company in Aberdeen. The role covers delivering HVAC deliverables, coordinating projects from procurement through to installation and commissioning.

Occasional offshore travel is required; you will liaise with contractors and multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with industry standards and HSE, and manage budgets and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HVAC experience within offshore oil & gas or marine environments.
• HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
• Proven experience delivering offshore/marine HVAC workscopes.
• Valid offshore certification (BOSIET, MIST and medical).
• Strong technical, project coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC engineering deliverables, including specifications, drawings, calculations and technical reports.
• Coordinate HVAC projects from engineering and procurement through to fabrication, installation and commissioning.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Support offshore HVAC surveys, installation and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, HSE requirements, budgets and project deadlines.
