Job summary

NES Group Ltd in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Engineer to support the delivery of modular, offshore and energy-sector projects. You will be involved from engineering and procurement through installation, commissioning and handover.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years' HVAC experience in offshore environments, a mechanical engineering background and offshore certifications. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, review technical submissions and drive safe, on-time

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with HVAC systems in offshore sectors.
• HND or equivalent in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience delivering HVAC project scopes.
• Valid offshore certification: BOSIET, MIST and Offshore Medical.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage HVAC engineering deliverables including work packs, specifications, datasheets, calculations, reports and drawings.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, structural and process engineering disciplines for project delivery.
• Manage HVAC activities through engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning phases.
• Review vendor documentation and equipment packages.
• Monitor supplier and contractor performance to meet quality, cost and schedule objectives.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, offshore installation, hook-up and commissioning.
• Develop relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain progress.
• Chair project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure activities comply with HSE requirements and industry best practice.
