Job summary

Atlas NextWave is recruiting an experienced Project Engineer (HVAC) to support major offshore energy projects. You will deliver HVAC engineering activities across project lifecycles and coordinate with design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover teams on busy offshore campaigns.

The role requires a degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, proven offshore HVAC delivery, and strong communication skills. Hybrid working options available across UK sites.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering HVAC projects within offshore, oil & gas, marine, or energy sectors.
• Strong understanding of HVAC design, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Experience with procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Offshore certification such as BOSIET and MIST would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HVAC engineering activities throughout project lifecycles.
• Support design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover phases.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal engineering disciplines.
• Manage technical documentation, specifications, and project deliverables.
• Oversee vendor packages and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support offshore installation and commissioning activities when required.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Atlas NextWave is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and energy services organisation for an experienced Project Engineer (HVAC) to support the delivery of major projects across the offshore energy sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience in HVAC systems, offshore projects, and multidisciplinary engineering delivery to join a growing team working on complex and technically challenging projects.
