Job summary

Altera Infrastructure invites a skilled Offshore HSSE Advisor to join our team on the Petrojarl Rosebank FPSO deployed in the UKCS West of Shetland. The role offers a 2:3 offshore rotation and a chance to influence MAH and process safety across operations.

You will provide first-line HSE support, lead by example, and coach on improvements while delivering trainings, audits, and safety campaigns with a focus on Life Saving Rules and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Considerable experience in a similar offshore role.
• NEBOSH General Certificate
• UKCS Medical
• UKCS BOSIET or FOET
• Degree in related discipline (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma)
• Train the Trainer Qualification
• Sypol System Experience
• MEMIR Training
• COSHH Assessor
• Use of Synergi

Responsibilities

• Provide competent HSE advice including MAH prevention and ER management.
• Deliver training to FPSO crew.
• Develop and implement the FPSO HSE programme and assurance activity matrix.
• Actively support Life Saving Rules implementation.
• Conduct worksite visits and coach on risk controls and safe work practices.
• Provide Occupational Health support (COSHH, HAVS, Manual Handling, Noise).
• Assist with incident reporting and investigations.
• Support asset assurance programme and verification activities.
• Support audits and safety campaigns.
• Participate in HSE activities including risk assessments, toolbox talks, ER training, etc.
• Deliver safety inductions and safety meetings.
• Provide regulatory inspection support.
