Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to support cross-site offshore engineering and execution activities across the UK. You will provide QHSE support for heavy lift, major component exchanges, special tasks and technical project management.

The role involves safe planning, mobilisation and execution, offshore inspections, incident investigations and facilitating HAZID sessions, with 2-3 days per week on-site at Grimsby or Barrow-in-Furness and offshore travel.

Qualifications

• Offshore HSE experience in Oil & Gas or Wind is essential.
• Proven ability to manage HSE risk using Bowties, barrier management and performance standards.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support safe planning, mobilisation and execution of offshore projects.
• Review risk assessments and method statements.
• Conduct offshore inspections and support emergency drills.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to support cross-site offshore engineering and execution activities across the UK. The role will provide QHSE support for Heavy Lift, Major Component Exchanges, Special Tasks and Technical Project Management.

The Senior HSE Advisor will support the safe planning, mobilisation and execution of projects, including reviewing risk assessments and method statements, conducting offshore inspections, supporting emergency drills, investigating incidents and facilitating HAZID sessions.

The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week from either Grimsby or Barrow-in-Furness, with offshore travel expected.

• Offshore HSE experience within Oil & Gas and Wind
• Full GWO, including Enhanced First Aid
• OGUK Medical including Chester Step
• Technical background
• NEBOSH General Certificate preferred
• Strong HSE risk management experience, including Bowties, Barrier Management and Performance Standards
