Job summary
Ocean Infinity seeks an experienced GIS / Geospatial Specialist to support offshore survey projects from tender through data processing and final client deliverables. You will join the CAD/GIS team, delivering high-quality geospatial outputs and helping to automate workflows using ArcGIS Pro, Python and FME.
The role requires hands-on production of line plans, alignment charts, and SSDM datasets, plus collaboration with Tender, Project and Data Processing teams to ensure client requirements are
Qualifications
- ArcGIS Pro, geoprocessing, data management and cartographic production.
- Develop and troubleshoot SSDM deliverables and structured geospatial data.
- Strong Python skills for geospatial apps and automation.
- Knowledge of GDAL and FME workflows for data transformation.
- Experience with spatial databases, schemas and data models.
Responsibilities
- Support offshore survey projects with mapping, GIS analysis and data prep.
- Create and maintain survey line plans, route and corridor information.
- Produce Alignment and North-Up charts in ArcGIS Pro for clients.
- Prepare and deliver SSDM and GIS deliverables to client schemas.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts and FME workflows for automation.
- Provide daily GIS support and troubleshoot workspace deployments.
