Job summary

OceaniQ, the GIS and Charting arm of Global Marine Group, seeks a GIS Officer to compile, validate and manage marine spatial data for subsea cable projects. You will use ArcGIS/GeoMedia/QGIS to process data, create maps, and support project reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualification in GIS or substantial GIS content or relevant experience.
• Experience using GIS software to manage, analyse and present spatial data.
• Familiarity with databases, data processing and data management.

Responsibilities

• Compile, validate and input raw geographic data into GIS databases.
• Operate GIS software to capture, edit, analyse and present spatial data.
• Update GIS databases with new information, maintain data quality and version control.
• Produce project-related maps, charts and spatial outputs for internal and external deliverables.
