We're currently looking for an experienced Offshore Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading consultancy on a short-term contract basis (Outside IR35). This role will support offshore site investigation campaigns across UK waters – starting ASAP.

? Key Info:

• ? 3-month contract
• ? Competitive daily rate (Outside IR35)
• ?? Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
• ? Prior UK offshore geotechnical experience is essential
• ?️ Offshore travel may be required – valid offshore certs a bonus

? What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting offshore site investigations (CPT, boreholes, sampling, etc.)
• Interpreting geotechnical data and contributing to reports
• Liaising with offshore crews, clients, and internal teams
• Ensuring technical quality and HSE compliance throughout the project

? Ideal Candidate:

• Strong background in offshore geotechnical engineering
• Familiar with UK offshore standards and operations
• Offshore survival/medical (BOSIET, OGUK) preferred but not essential
• Available to start at short notice
