Job summary

NOV is looking for a Field Support Electrician for their iNOVaTHERM thermal processing systems in the United Kingdom, Scotland. You will provide specialized support during offshore and onshore projects to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hazardous area environments.
• Proven track record in electrical systems.
• Ability to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems related to iNOVaTHERM equipment.
• Support offshore and onshore technical operations.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Skills

CompEx Certification (Ex01–Ex04 minimum preferred)

Recognised electrical qualification (SVQ/NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)

Experience working with industrial electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings and schematics

Offshore experience in oil & gas, industrial, or energy sectors

Experience performing electrical installations and fault finding

Knowledge of hazardous area equipment and practices

Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures

Computer literacy

Knowledge of HMI / PLC Controlled Systems

Good Health and Safety knowledge

Good English skills, both verbal and written

Offshore certification (BOSIET/FOET, MIST, Medical)

Experience with thermal processing or industrial heating systems

PLC and instrumentation experience

Familiarity with generators, distribution systems, and control panels

Mechanical aptitude and process operations experience

Proven experience working with Mechanical and/or Hydraulic Equipment or Machinery
