Base pay range

Your new company: A specialist MGA based in the heart of the City, specializing in Professional Indemnity, Property, Commercial Risks, and Directors & Officers. They pride themselves on innovative insurance solutions and offerings to a global panel of strategic brokers. After several years of positive performance, the company is now looking to add an Energy Underwriter to their team.

Your new role

The primary focus will be writing profitable Energy business. The role is broker-facing, involving engagement with their established panel and leveraging existing relationships.

Main responsibilities include:

1. Writing Offshore Energy (Direct & Facultative) business
2. Maintaining and building broker support for the product
3. Collaborating with capacity providers when necessary
4. Working closely with the support team to process written business and handle midterm queries

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 5 years of underwriting experience in Offshore Energy risks
• Experience managing broker relationships
• Strong interpersonal skills to proactively engage with brokers
• Experience with London market property
