CB&I Asset Solutions is seeking an Electrical Rope Access Technician for offshore assignment on bp ETAP, rotating 3/3, on a permanent contract. Role requires adherence to safety, strict compliance with PTW, and hands-on maintenance of electrical equipment in hazardous environments.

The position requires IRATA L1, COMPEX, and offshore safety certifications, with a background in oil & gas and experience in risk assessments, permits to work, and CMMS reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Electrical apprenticeship completed and current within field.
• Vocational electrical maintenance qualifications.
• COMPEX certified.
• IRATA L1 rope access certification.
• 5 years in oil and gas industry in similar role.
• Electrical equipment in hazardous areas experience.
• Familiar with CMMS and safety procedures.
• Strong problem solving and planning capabilities.

Aufgaben

• Ensure all work is safe and compliant with health and safety procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in pre-job risk assessments and permit-to-work processes.
• Assist in pre-job site inspections and toolbox talks for maintenance activities.
• Support safety tours and ensure PPE is properly used.
• Ensure all responders understand emergency equipment and their use.
• Maintain equipment and systems and reinstate to required condition.
• Coordinate start-up/shutdown with operations and report via CMMS.
