ScottishPower Renewables in the UK seeks an Electrical & Mechanical Technician to support the East Anglia One windfarm. You will service and troubleshoot cranes, foundations and substations, working offshore and onshore with HV safety in mind.

A strong electrical background and offshore wind experience are preferred, with opportunities for training and career development. Competitive salary up to £51,446 DOE plus up to 10% annual bonus and healthcare, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Competenze

• Electrical qualification or strong background in electrical competence.
• Experience of working in an Offshore Wind Environment desirable but not essential.
• Experience of maintaining electrical / mechanical equipment.
• Experience of performing maintenance of cranes desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Planning and organisational skills.
• Reporting and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work environment.
• Experience of working with a safe system of work.

Mansioni

• Service, maintain and troubleshoot wind turbine cranes and foundation equipment.
• Assist in onshore and offshore substations maintenance with HV team.
• Fault finding to identify cause and plan corrective actions.
• Support retro fit solutions with the Engineering department.
• Assist with HV switching, isolation and earthing under HV safety rules.
• Aid in RAMS, site procedures, and BOM/inventory tasks.
• Attend site visits and participate in contractor oversight.
