Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a full-time, permanent Decommissioning Lead to shape the offshore wind decommissioning strategy and governance.

You will coordinate across technical, commercial, operational, and regulatory functions, and interface with regulators, joint ventures and contractors. You will lead studies, oversee cost and schedule reporting, and help integrate decommissioning into long‑term asset lifecycle planning, including opportunities for innovation and circular

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record delivering complex offshore projects.
• Strong governance, budgeting and risk management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with international collaboration.
• Willingness to travel internationally and undertake offshore work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement decommissioning strategy, governance, and delivery models.
• Coordinate future capabilities across technical, commercial, and regulatory functions.
• Act as interface between internal teams, regulators, and contractors.
• Lead decommissioning studies, including contracting strategies and cost oversight.
• Support liabilities management, cost estimates and financial planning inputs.
• Develop strategic supply chain relationships and procurement activities.
