Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is hiring for a permanent, full-time role in Coventry to shape offshore wind decommissioning strategies, governance and delivery models across the global portfolio.

You will work in the Project Delivery team under the Decommissioning Lead, coordinating stakeholders, cost, schedule and risk, and developing intelligent, sustainable solutions for life extension, repowering and end-of-life planning.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Engineering, Marine Operations, Project Management or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience delivering complex engineering, infrastructure, offshore energy or marine projects.
• Strong project management capability covering planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, governance and project delivery.
• Commercial awareness with experience in procurement, contract management, supply chain engagement and business case development.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental performance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally and undertake offshore/site-based work.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of decommissioning strategy, governance frameworks and delivery models across the global portfolio.
• Coordinate development of future decommissioning capabilities across technical, commercial, operational and regulatory functions.
• Act as a key interface between internal teams, regulators, JV partners and contractors.
• Lead and support decommissioning studies and projects, including contracting strategies and cost/schedule oversight.
• Support management of decommissioning liabilities, cost estimates and financial planning inputs.
• Develop strategic supply chain relationships while supporting procurement and capability development.
• Contribute to asset life extension, repowering and end-of-life planning by integrating decommissioning into lifecycle decisions.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and value through circular economy approaches.
