Job summary

Briggs Marine is seeking an Able Seaman (AB) for a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) role to support safe transfer of personnel and light cargo to offshore installations such as wind turbines. You will assist navigation, deck operations, maintenance and safety procedures under the Master’s direction.

Key tasks include mooring and anchoring, assisting crew transfers, and operating deck gear. The role requires STCW qualifications and an AB certificate, with opportunities for on-the-job training and

Responsibilities

• Perform deck operations including mooring and anchoring
• Assist in the safe transfer of crew and technicians to offshore platforms and wind turbines
• Operate and deploy counter pollution equipment
• Form part of a mooring and anchoring party
• Operate deck machinery when suitably trained or qualified
• Ship husbandry tasks
• Assist with refuelling, loading, and unloading of cargo and supplies
