Warmsworth Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an Office Manager to lead our team of office staff and contribute to the effective running of our school.

The Governors are seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead and manage our administrators, and provide day-to-day support to pupils, parents, carers, staff and visitors, with a focus on efficiency and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working within an office environment, preferably a school setting.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A friendly, flexible and professional approach, particularly when multi-tasking under pressure.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Mathematics to Grade C/4 or above).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage our team of office staff and ensure the smooth running of the school office.
  • Provide day-to-day support to pupils, parents, carers, staff and visitors.
  • Prioritise workload to ensure office systems operate efficiently.
  • Demonstrate initiative and perform well under pressure.

Warmsworth Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an Office Manager to lead our team of office staff and contribute to the effective running of our school.

The Governors of Warmsworth Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced Office Manager as soon as possible to be responsible for the leadership and daily smooth running of our busy school office. We are looking for a highly efficient and well-organised person to lead and manage our team of administrators and provide day-to-day support to pupils, parents, carers, staff and visitors.

We are looking for someone who can use their own initiative; works well under pressure and has exceptional customer service skills.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working within an office environment, preferably a school setting
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • A friendly, flexible and professional approach, particularly when multi-tasking under pressure
  • A very good working knowledge of office management systems such as Microsoft Word/Excel/Publisher etc
  • A full working knowledge of SIMS is a significant advantage, although training and support will be provided to the suitable candidate
  • Good understanding of financial procedures
  • The ability to prioritise workload to ensure office systems operate efficiently for the smooth running of the school
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE (or equivalent) English and Mathematics to Grade C/Grade 4 or above.)

The Governors of Warmsworth Primary School are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants will undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers.
