Freelance Office Manager Needed Construction Site in Northamptonshire

Are you an organized and proactive professional ready to support the smooth operation of a busy construction site? We re looking for a Freelance Office Manager to join our client on an exciting project in Kettering!

This 18-month contract offers the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day management of a dynamic site office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General site secretarial duties, including managing correspondence and maintaining records.
  • Act as the document controller, ensuring all project documentation is organized and accessible via Procore.
  • Greeting visitors and acting as the first point of contact for site inquiries.
  • Coordinating and arranging meetings for site teams and stakeholders.
  • Managing office supplies by ordering stationery and equipment as needed.
  • Supporting the site team with any ad-hoc administrative tasks.

What We re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a construction site environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Procore or similar document management systems.
  • A proactive and friendly personality with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with teams and visitors professionally.
  • Reliability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Details:

  • Location: Kettering
  • Duration: 12-month contract
  • Hours: Flexible , for example 8:30 - 16:30 or 9:00 - 17:00 - would also consider school drop off hours if needed for the right person
