Overview

Office Manager - Admin Role (Temporary to Permanent) | Location: Chorley, Lancashire | Start Date: 1st December | Contract: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent | Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the school office, ensuring administrative systems are effective, efficient, and support the wider needs of the school.
  • Supervise administrative staff, manage office workflows, and act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the senior leadership team, handle confidential information, coordinate schedules, manage school communications, and support compliance with school policies and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for admissions, attendance reporting, and general correspondence.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience in a school or busy office environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of administrative processes, proficient with IT systems, and able to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience supervising staff or leading a team is desirable but not essential.
