Office Manager


Contract Type: Temporary


Pay Rate: £15 - £16 per hour


Working Pattern: 8am - 4pm (35 hours per week, Mon-Fri, term time only)


We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with exceptional organisational skills to support our busy school office.


About the Role As an Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our school. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Admissions Management : Oversee and facilitate the admissions process, including preparing induction packs and coordinating visits.

  • Attendance Oversight : Manage whole school attendance and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent procedures.

  • Data & Assessment : Work with the Senior Leadership Team to maintain accurate assessment data and manage statutory requirements.

  • Team Management : Be the first point of contact for the School Office, line managing administrative staff and fostering a collaborative team spirit.

  • Administration Support : Coordinate school events, support teachers with planning, and provide clerical assistance for key meetings.


The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Good organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Strong ability to relate to various stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Enthusiasm for supporting a dynamic school environment.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid computer skills.

  • Integrity, trustworthiness, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
