Job summary

Arcus FM is seeking a part-time Office Cleaner to join our team on a permanent 10-hour-per-week contract. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.45 and working hours of 5:30pm to 8:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesdays.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping offices clean, safe and tidy, maintaining high standards of cleaning so all areas are presentable, safe and hygienic for employees, clients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial or office cleaning (preferred but not required as on the job training will be provided).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean office areas, including desks, meeting rooms, reception areas, corridors, and restrooms.
• Empty bins/clean fridges
• Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop hard floors.
• Wipe down and disinfect surfaces such as desks, countertops, and door handles.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors as required.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow proper cleaning and health & safety procedures, including use of PPE and cleaning chemicals.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely and maintained in good condition.

To be successful you will have:
