Job summary

Portfolio Credit Control is seeking a Payroll Officer for a permanent, office-based role. You will join the payroll department reporting to the Payroll Manager and own the payroll process for ~1000 employees each month.

The role covers starters/leavers, salary amendments, overtime, HMRC submissions, P45s/P60s, and regular payroll checks, reports and reconciliations. You will contribute to year-end activities and audits while helping train a Payroll Administrator.

Qualifications

• End-to-end monthly payroll processing for the full payroll of c1000 employees.
• HMRC submissions are completed accurately and on time.
• Managing P45s and P60s processing.

Responsibilities

• Process a start to finish monthly payroll for c1000 employees.
• Process all starters and leavers, changes, salary amendments and overtime.
• HMRC submissions.
• P45s and P60s.
• Perform regular payroll checking, reports and reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end activities.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Support Payroll Manager to develop and train a Payroll Administrator.
