Job description

The role will involve the day-to-day operations and administration within our busy office; working in various departments within the organisation including; sales, accounts, purchasing, quality and health and safety.

You will be a proactive team player who thrives in a dynamic environment, with the ability to anticipate needs, identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions effectively.

Additionally, your willingness to bring new ideas to the team will be highly valued, as we strive to innovate and enhance our business processes.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Producing quotations, taking orders, generating production documents, producing delivery notes and invoices.
  • Managing production plan and liaising with production
  • Communicating with customers by email and over the telephone, answering queries, directing calls and taking messages
  • Creating quality documents, monthly reports and analysis
  • Creating health and safety documents, monthly reports and analysis
  • Minute taking and producing action plans
  • Support accounts staff with processing of purchase invoices
  • To support staff as and when required in general admin duties
  • Ensure that all visitors receive welcoming, professional attention
  • General office tasks - answering phones, filing, archiving, scanning, creating newsletters and reports
  • Creating documents in word and excel
  • Ad hoc duties requested from management
