Job description

ATW Ecology have an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our team based in Malvern.

Starting at 3 days per week.

The Office Administrator will assist with day-to-day administration within the organisation and the projects it runs. You will be the first point of contact for customers and work as a team member within the organisation supporting colleagues with their business operations.

The successful Administrator will be motivated and have a can-do attitude. You will have experience in a similar Admin or Project Management role. You will be used to working at a fast pace in a busy environment, using your own initiative and be flexible and agile to change or events that need urgent attention.

This company is going through a period of growth, there are lots of changes in process and this is an excellent chance to be involved and hours may increase in the future due to this.

Key responsibilities:

  • Form effective and robust working relationships across the organisation with staff and clients.
  • Day to day monitoring of the company inbox and answering the phone/answer phone, managing all correspondence and general administration.
  • Assisting with administration cycle of other team members.
  • Prepare letters, contracts and other documentations when required.
  • Liaise with and organise surveyors.
  • Monitor various projects to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are allocated.
  • Assist with preparing quotes/invoices.
  • Responsible for all various general office duties including welcoming any guests.
  • To maintain records, spreadsheets and data as required.
  • To undertake any other tasks that fit within the remit of the role.

The successful candidate for the Administrator position will have:

  • Strong administrator experience.
  • Good people skills and excellent communication.
  • Project management experience desired but not essential.
  • Advanced Excel, Word and Outlook skills. Experience with sharepoint and other office programmes desirable.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and run reports.
  • The ability to work alone, under pressure and use your own initiative.

Job Types: Part time 22.5 hours per week over 3 days (may be flexible for the right candidate).

Office hours are 9am – 5.30pm with 1 hour break to suit the Company.

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 pro rata.
