Job Title

Office Administrator

Main Duties

The administrator will be responsible for general administration duties within the office. They will take customer orders and input them onto the Trinity system. They will also record and correctly cash up all cash, cheques, and PDQs that arrive into the Depot.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with daily office tasks such as managing the post, processing orders, and handling administrative work.

Key Skills
  • Track run sheets and collect delivery notes from drivers.
  • Check and record all incoming deliveries, including account details, delivery amounts, and payment methods onto an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Manage all cash, cheques, and PDQs received from deliveries and account managers.
  • Ensure the security of the till and office safe, with proper storage of all payments.
  • Balance the Cash Postings spreadsheet daily.
  • Cash up and store all money, cheques, and PDQs securely at the end of each working day.
  • Assist with order taking for telesales and answer phones, taking messages as needed.
  • Perform administrative duties such as confirming orders, sorting post, filing, and processing orders.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for record-keeping.
  • Accuracy in counting money and maintaining records.
  • Experience with Trinity software for checking accounts, invoices, and placing orders.
  • Ability to work well with office staff, drivers, and warehousing staff.
Additional Information
  • Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (40 hours per week)
  • Discretionary £2,000 bonus based on KPIs.
