Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Business Support Administrator to assist in the operational support of various clinical services. The role involves handling patient queries, providing administrative support, and assisting in financial transactions. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills and adaptability in a bustling healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will need to be highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple processes and systems on a day-to-day basis while handling queries from patients and clinicians. Emphasis will be placed on data entry and accuracy.
The role involves supporting the operational team with defined projects to enable comprehensive and cost-effective services within the Outpatient Clinical Service Unit by providing analytical and administrative support.
The post holder will support a busy outpatient booking and scheduling team responsible for high volumes of appointments. We are looking for candidates with strong customer service skills who are adaptable in their working methods.

You will be involved in the daily running of the business support functions within the Diabetes, Endocrinology, Metabolism, Lipids, Rheumatology, Clinical Immunology & Allergy, and Specialist Medicine Delivery Unit. The role requires working independently to ensure tasks are completed to standards and deadlines.
You will implement new administrative policies and procedures as necessary and handle queries professionally and promptly.
You will support the full range of finance transactions, including resolving related queries and issues.
