Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Ocean Import Coordinator to manage the processing of import shipments for an assigned base of accounts. You will review documentation, coordinate release with customs, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining excellent client communication.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of freight forwarding experience, strong English (B1+), and solid computer and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in freight forwarding.
• English language knowledge (oral/written) - level B1 minimum.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent client service skills, responding promptly and professionally to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process import documentation for an assigned base of accounts.
• Monitor transactions and notify supervisory personnel of any problem or irregularities.
• Provide excellent and timely client service by informing the client of the status of their shipment(s).
• Coordinate sea freight, release operations, customs or other governmental agency examinations that may be required.
• Dispatch deliveries with truckers.
• Coordinate warehousing operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.

The Ocean Import Coordinator will be responsible for the processing of import shipments and all related activities for an assigned base of accounts. Performs duties related to import documentation review and customs release coordination affecting timely delivery. Logistic coordination, included deliveries and distribution.

This role may be well suited to candidates with minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding and a background in customer service, who are looking to further develop their skills and experience

Essential Job Functions:
