Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics in Manchester is seeking an Ocean Export Coordinator to manage the end-to-end movement of international shipments from pick-up to delivery.

You will liaise with clients, customs and agents, prepare export documentation, track shipments, handle billing in the TMS, and communicate progress and rate quotations. A minimum of 1 year in ocean freight export and strong English skills are required.

Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.

The Ocean Export Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, routing, rating, monitoring of international shipments (ocean export) from pick-up through to delivery.

This role may be well suited to candidates with minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding and a background in customer service, who are looking to further develop their skills and experience

Essential Job Funcations:

• Deals directly with clients, customs and agents to ensure the quickest and best movement of cargo throughout the world.
• Prepares documents necessary to complete export, and customs clearance process.
• Track and trace cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery.
• Proper and correct billing and cost information populated in the global transport management system for accurate invoicing and job costing.
• Communicate with customers regarding disposition of Freight (i.e., tracking & tracing, routing & dispatching, and rate quotations).
• Communicate & correspond with other Company branches and agents for customer satisfaction and ensure excellent service execution.
• Seek the most profitable mode of shipment yet meet customer’s requirement for the movement of freight.
• Daily KPI adherence.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Certifications and Licenses required:

• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
