Poundland & Dealz is seeking an Ocean Freight & Origin Co-ordinator to join the Central Supply Chain in Walsall. The role offers two days per week to work from home, with the rest in the office.

You will support FOB tracking, critical path reporting, and cross-functional teams to optimise ocean freight processes and mitigate risks. Ideal candidates bring experience in FMCG logistics, strong organisational abilities, and clear communication.

Formación

• Supply Chain Administration or Coordinator experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Clear and concise communication and high attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Support Ocean Freight & Origin team with data and reporting on FOB tracking and critical path timelines.
• Produce weekly FOB PO critical path reports and weekly pack details.
• Assist merchandising with FOB & Origin visibility and milestone management.
• Provide analysis to guide ordering best practices for FMCG.
• Coordinate with Imports & Customs to ensure stock movement from Origin to DCs.
• Support cost-saving initiatives with FOB and merchandising teams.
• Collaborate with supply chain partners to drive freight savings.
• Help build the optimal shipping container plan to Ireland DC.
• Maintain activity calendar for seasonal launches and major holidays.
