Responsabilidades

• Co-ordinate ocean import shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, hauliers and customers.
• Arrange bookings, monitor arrivals and coordinate deliveries.
• Prepare and check shipping documentation.
• Coordinate customs clearance and ensure required information is available.
• Provide updates and resolve delays or shipment queries.
• Obtain rates, prepare quotations and manage shipment costs.
• Maintain accurate records and complete invoicing.
• Build strong relationships through responsive customer service.

The role

You’ll coordinate ocean import shipments from booking through to final delivery, keeping customers informed and ensuring each stage runs smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing ocean import shipments, including FCL and LCL movements

• Liaising with overseas agents, shipping lines, hauliers and customers

• Arranging bookings, monitoring arrivals and coordinating deliveries

• Preparing and checking shipping documentation

• Coordinating customs clearance and ensuring the required information is available

• Providing accurate updates and resolving delays or shipment queries

• Obtaining rates, preparing quotations and managing shipment costs

• Maintaining accurate records and completing invoicing

• Building strong relationships through responsive customer service

About you

• Previous ocean import experience within freight forwarding

• A good understanding of the import process from origin through to delivery

• Confidence liaising with customers, overseas agents and suppliers

• Strong organisation and attention to detail
