• Experience in quoting and operations of export ocean freight forwarding is essential.
• Background in sea freight forwarding operations with a UK forwarder needed.

Job description

Position: Ocean Export Coordinator
Location: Chelmsford
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 Plus Hybrid
Salary: Circa 28,000

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the exportation of Less than Container Loads (LCL) and Full Container Loads (FCL) shipments via sea freight. You must have a background in sea freight forwarding operations with a UK forwarder.

Your key responsibilities as Ocean Export Coordinator:

• Complete start-to-finish export consignments via sea freight
• Responsible for the day to day running of allocated LCL & FCL movements
• Global imports
• Create bookings from the origin
• Provide freight rates, quotes and pricing solutions for customers
• Track and update shipment statues in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
• Complete import customs entries via CDS
• Ensure compliance with import regulations
• Developing good working relationships with shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers and our other branches
• Previous experience in quoting and operations of export ocean freight forwarding is essential
