An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the multi disciplinary team across Perth & Kinross Adult Community Mental Health Teams.

You will be responsible for the clinical leadership and management of the occupational therapy team, prioritising the day to day resource and providing team lead support for the inpatient and community settings across the Perth & Kinross Locality

The position requires a highly motivated individual who is passionate about providing high quality, person centred occupational therapy delivered with compassion and kindness. You should be and an inspiring and collaborative leader who values open communication.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience working as an Occupational Therapist within physical rehabilitation services, possess excellent communication and decision making skills and have a confident approach to multidisciplinary team working within an integrated Health and Social Care setting. Successful applicants will also have leadership and service improvement experience.

Perth and Kinross Occupational Therapy Service provides excellent formal and informal supervision, actively supports individual development through performance development review and learning plans, provide a framework for encouraging CPD and promotes innovative practice.

In line with the evidence base and the strategic direction of NHS Tayside, the Allied Health Professions, will be moving towards 7 day working. This is for improved outcomes and to maximise a person-centred equitable approach to care. Therefore, all new contracts for AHP staff will be for a 5 out of 7 day service/rota to enable the service to be ready to move to a safe and effective 7 day service.
