Job summary

Cygnet Health Care in Bilston is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapists in assessment, treatment and development of service users at our 34-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit.

You will work under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, participate in MDT meetings, and complete an induction and ongoing training. Applicants will undergo enhanced DBS and references; the role offers a permanent contract, full-time hours, and benefits such as free parking and staff meals.

Qualifications

• Assist Occupational Therapists in assessment, treatment and development of individuals.
• Plan and implement therapeutic activities under supervision of a qualified OT.
• Undergo enhanced DBS and references; employment subject to clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the OT team in planning and delivering therapy sessions.
• Engage with MDT to support patient progress and discharge planning.
