Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant for the Low Secure Inpatient Male Forensic Service in Radlett. The post supports the Occupational Therapy lead Recovery team, delivering occupationally focused interventions under supervision, aligned with the Model of Human Occupation.

The role sits within a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and nurses to help service users manage risks and develop skills for recovery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OT techniques and activities for client groups.
• Willingness to undertake Computing, Group Skills, Food Handling within 12 months.
• Health and Safety Training including Food Handling & Hygiene.
• Technical qualification such as City & Guilds or Health & Social Care NVQ Level 3.
