Job summary

JustOT is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Complex Occupational Therapy Service in Greater London. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to support adults with complex needs and contribute to person-centred interventions.

The role involves assisting with equipment provision, moving and handling assessments, documentation, and collaboration with service users, families, and other professionals to promote independence.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Complex Occupational Therapy Service. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting adults with complex needs and contributing to the delivery of person-centred occupational therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Occupational Therapists in the assessment and treatment of adults with complex health and social care needs.
• Assist with the provision of equipment, adaptations, and solutions to promote independence and improve functional ability.
• Complete equipment provision, installation, and review processes as required.
• Support with moving and handling (M&H) assessments, advice, and interventions.
• Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to clinical decision-making.
• Provide practical support and guidance within the community and care environments.
• Must have experience working within Adult Social Care .
• Knowledge and understanding of occupational therapy equipment and adaptations.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex physical, cognitive, and social care needs.
• Understanding of safe moving and handling practices.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
