Somerset NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist within the South Somerset Reablement Therapy Team. The post covers intermediate care beds in South Somerset, including Sherborne House, La Fontana and Crewkerne Community Hospital.

If you enjoy inpatient rehabilitation with a varied, complex caseload, you will work autonomously with access to supervision and will support junior staff and students across community and hospital settings.

Formación

• Essential Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration (healthcare professions council).
• Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio including attendance at postgraduate courses.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a high standard Occupational Therapy service as part of the Intermediate Care Bedded Pathway team.
• Manage own caseload autonomously with regular supervision.
• Support and train junior rehabilitation assistants, apprentices, discharge facilitators and students.
• Work with patients in community locations including community hospitals, care home rehab units and patients' homes.
