Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in England is seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist for permanent substantive and bank posts. The post offers a 12-month Preceptorship Training Programme led by a multi-professional team to develop clinical expertise, leadership, and quality improvement skills.

Rotations cover Rheumatology, Upper Limb, Orthopaedics, Stroke Rehab, and community services across three sites, with 7-day service requirements.

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Experience in NHS environments and rehabilitation settings is desirable.
• Commitment to CPD and continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Undertake OT assessments, diagnose and plan treatment.
• Work with Senior Therapists and supervise OT Assistants and students.
• Participate in Clinical Specialist led clinics and staff rotations.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care plans.
• Contribute to MDT meetings and service improvement.
