About the role

BaptistCare is one of Australia's largest home care providers and a leader in service quality and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in the Nepean region part‑time (3 day / week) on a 12 month fixed‑term contract supporting Penrith, Blue Mountains and surrounds.

You will deliver evidence‑based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility and confidence to remain living at home.

About you
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programmes for aged care clients in the community
  • Post‑graduate experience working in a variety of aged care services including rehabilitation and community settings
  • Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
  • Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
  • Alignment with BaptistCare's values and mission
  • Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable registered vehicle with minimum Third‑Party Property Damage car insurance
