Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Housing Adaptations and Equipment Team in Durham. You will assess clients in their homes, design bespoke adaptation plans to promote independence, and work with social care teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment.

This role offers a £23.54 hourly rate for 30 hours per week, with a schedule from 08:30 to 17:00, and a focus on enabling safe, independent living for service users in the Durham area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations in clients' homes to identify needs for housing adaptations and equipment.

• Provide guidance on moving and handling techniques ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Offer training and support to clients and families on using adapted equipment effectively.
