Job summary

Merton Council's Occupational Therapy team is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join the London Borough of Merton. You will assess and plan interventions, manage your own caseload, and work in a paperless environment with good IT skills, to promote independence and improve quality of life for residents.

We offer flexible working, with up to two days at home, laptop and phone, ongoing training and supervision, generous holiday entitlement, and access to the Local Government Pension

Qualifications

• Degree in occupational therapy (BSc/MSc) and HCPC registration.
• Experience in local authority is desirable.
• Excellent communication and IT skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete occupational therapy assessments and plan interventions.
• Identify suitable equipment and adaptations to promote independent living.
• Collaborate with the occupational therapy and social care teams in reablement and hospital-to-home pathways.
