Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Equipment & Adaptations Team in Crewe. This locum role offers full-time hours and £35 per hour, delivering specialist equipment and home adaptations to adults in need, to improve independence, safety and quality of life.

The role provides the chance to work within a dedicated multidisciplinary service, engaging with housing, NHS partners, and community services to support person-centred outcomes and meaningful daily

• Assess the needs of adults with illnesses, disabilities, or long‑term conditions, identifying appropriate equipment and adaptation solutions.
• Provide expert information, guidance, and advice to service users, families, and carers.
• Undertake assessments for individuals returning home from hospital or residential settings, ensuring suitable equipment and support are in place.
• Recommend, prescribe, and review specialist equipment to maximise safety and independence.
• Work closely with Housing Services, NHS teams, contractors, and other partner organisations to coordinate adaptation projects.
• Liaise with architects, surveyors, service users, and other stakeholders to review and approve adaptation p
