Civic Recruitment Limited advertises a 3 months contract with a local authority for an Occupational Therapist. You will provide professional OT assessments and interventions for adults, young people, children, carers, and individuals with learning disabilities or mental health needs.

Role focuses on strengths-based and person-centred care to promote independence, prepares plans, liaises with families and health professionals, maintains case records, and works with safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with registration and eligibility to practice.
• Experience undertaking Occupational Therapy assessments across age groups.
• Experience working in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Strong report writing and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.

Responsabilités

• Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments for adults, children and carers.
• Complete assessments for young adults transitioning into Adult Social Care.
• Support service users with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
• Recommend and implement interventions to promote independence.
• Carry out functional assessments and reviews.
• Work within safeguarding procedures for children and adults.
• Develop person-centred support plans and recommendations.
• Liaise with families, carers, health professionals and partner agencies.
