Location: Channel Islands, Guernsey

Salary: £57,375 – £62,310 per year + Fantastic relocation package

The States of Guernsey are looking for a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Disability team, working as part of the multi-disciplinary Adult Community Learning Disability and Autism Team.

Your Role:

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you’ll manage a defined caseload, applying evidence-based, client-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions. You’ll play a key role in coordinating Occupational Therapy Service to the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Developing tailored intervention plans to support individuals with learning disabilities & autism
  • Working alongside families, caregivers & healthcare professionals to create holistic care strategies
  • Promoting independence & quality of life through specialized therapy approaches
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records to support ongoing service evaluation
  • Contributing to service development & innovation within Adult Community Services

What You Need:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Previous experience in learning disabilities or autism (preferred but not essential)
  • Commitment to client-centred care & professional development
