Job summary

CPL Group in Rochester is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join an Assistive Technology service. You will provide specialist clinical advice on community equipment and technology, assess equipment needs, and support service delivery.

This role requires HCPC registration and the ability to work independently. You will work with health and social care colleagues to promote independence, deliver training, maintain records, and lead in appropriate equipment provision.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience in community equipment or assistive technology services.
• Strong understanding of functional assessment and equipment provision.
• Ability to work independently and provide clinical leadership when needed.
• Good IT and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on assistive technology and equipment.
• Complete clinical assessments and recommendations for equipment provision.
• Support cost-effective and appropriate equipment use.
• Review special orders and promote equipment reuse where possible.
• Deliver training and demonstrations to staff and stakeholders.

Details The role involves providing specialist clinical advice and support relating to community equipment and assistive technology services. You will work collaboratively with health and social care professionals to promote independence, maximise equipment effectiveness, and support service delivery.
