Job summary

Your World Healthcare UK is seeking a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join a busy rehabilitation service based within a HSE hospital in Derry. This is a full-time agency opportunity offering Monday to Friday hours, with no weekend commitment, making it ideal for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What You'll Need includes CORU registration and relevant OT experience, Garda Vetting, ability to work in Ireland, and up-to-date immunisations.

Qualifications

• Current CORU registration
• At least 6 months' OT experience
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Garda Vetting (or willingness to complete)
• Overseas Police Clearance, where applicable
• Up-to-date immunisations (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, TB)

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and rehabilitation for older adults
• Create tailored treatment plans to maximise independence
• Assess mobility, daily living skills, cognition and equipment needs
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
• Support discharge planning and safe transitions back into the community
