Johnson Matthey Plc is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to support the OH team across Royston and other sites. You will perform health surveillance tests, assist in planning and administering health screening programmes, and maintain up-to-date OH records.

The role involves travel to multiple JM sites (Royston, Brimsdown, Cambridge, Sonning, Farringdon) and requires working in office environments with appropriate lighting and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in health surveillance testing such as audiometry, spirometry, urinalysis, visual acuity, blood pressure, pulse, height/weight.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and OH databases.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Drive and determination to achieve tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and administer health surveillance/screening programmes per policies, including audiometry, spirometry, urinalysis, vision screening, phlebotomy, vital signs.
• Administer tests or vaccinations to employees per Department of Health guidelines and protocols.
• Maintain accurate and confidential OH records (manual and electronic).
• Ensure confidentiality per Data Protection, Medical Confidentiality, and NMC guidelines.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with HR, EHS, managers and employees.
